Open Access & Licensing

The Legal Gazette is an open-access e-platform, meaning that the majority of content is available free of charge. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.

All open-access content published on The Legal Gazette is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA) License.

The content is licensed under the name of the respective writer, while the ownership of the content is held by The Legal Gazette.

Certain content on the platform may be paid or require a subscription, which does not fall under the scope of Open Access.

Proprietary Rights

All logos, brand names, trademarks, service marks, trade names, content, and distinctive identification marks displayed on the Sites are the property of The Legal Gazette or its licensors. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any content without prior written consent from The Legal Gazette is strictly prohibited.

If you submit an article, blog, or research paper to The Legal Gazette, the submission fee is strictly non-refundable. In case the submission is found to be AI-generated, highly plagiarized, or does not adhere to proper citation guidelines (OSCOLA), The Legal Gazette reserves the right to reject the submission without providing any refund.

The Legal Gazette also reserves the right to refuse any subscription or submission at its discretion. In such cases, the Subscription Fee will be refunded without interest.

Security & User Obligations

Visitors and users are strictly prohibited from attempting to breach the security of the website, including but not limited to:

  • Accessing or attempting to access restricted accounts, servers, or databases.

  • Introducing malware, viruses, Trojan horses, or any malicious code.

  • Sending unsolicited emails or spam messages.

  • Engaging in activities that may disrupt the website’s functioning.

Any such attempt to violate security protocols will lead to civil and criminal liability. The Legal Gazette reserves the right to investigate and take legal action against individuals involved in such actions. Any damage caused to the website, its reputation, or financial standing due to such violations will be the full responsibility of the perpetrator.

All submissions must adhere to citation guidelines (OSCOLA). If an article is found to be AI-generated, highly plagiarized, or does not comply with the citation standards, The Legal Gazette reserves the right to reject the submission without any refund.

Users are not allowed to infringe upon the copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights of The Legal Gazette or any third party. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in legal consequences.

 

Advertisements & Third-Party Content

The Legal Gazette runs commercial advertisements, including but not limited to those served by Google AdSense. These advertisements are displayed based on automated systems, and The Legal Gazette does not control or endorse the content of these ads. Users acknowledge that The Legal Gazette is not responsible for any claims, representations, or offers made in third-party advertisements.

Additionally, The Legal Gazette is not responsible for third-party links, advertisements, or external websites accessible through its Sites. Users access such third-party content at their own risk.
